MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Women on Mission
Women on Mission (WOM) meets on the first Monday of the month, except for July and August, at 7:00 PM for a variety of mission-related speakers, projects, worship, prayer and discussion. A committed group of members work throughout the year to plan and implement various mission events. The WOM Meal Team Ministry provides meals to families during their time of loss, sickness, surgery, birth, etc., and also coordinates baby showers.   WOM are involved in a variety of mission projects, such as partnering with the Raleigh Baptist Association in a monthlong drive to collect baby items for families in need in econonically depressed areas of West Virginia.   WOM sponsors "Eggs for Annie", an Annie Armstrong Easter Offering event to collect funds for the SBC spring mission, with emphasis for North American missions.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

MOPS stands for Mother of PreschoolerS. The purpose of MOPS is to nurture every Mother of Preschooler by meeting her needs during this important season of life. Mothers will leave enlightened and rejuvenated, as our meeting time includes “meet and eat”, teaching, discussion groups, and creative activities. You will form relationships with other Mothers of PreschoolerS, and experience God’s love through this important ministry. Any mother with a child under school age (kindergarten and under) is eligible to join!

MOPS meets on the first and third Thursday of each month, from September to May. (Limited childcare is available.) Our meetings are held in the fellowship hall at Macedonia Baptist Church from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
