KEWL - Kids Experiencing Worship and Life
Kindergarteners through fifth graders now have their own worship service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. This worship service geared toward kids is just one of the activities planned for the new KEWL ministry. Stay tuned and stay connected for more information and fun!

Vacation Bible School
Every year, MBC reaches out to children in the community by offering Vacation Bible School (VBS). Additionally, offerings of money and/or food are collected for Missions. Typically, over 200 children and adults are registered, and more than 100 volunteers worke as teachers , floaters, craft and food workers.

On Wednesday evenings MBC offers Kids' Connections - a great time of fellowship and Bible study.

Cub Scout Pack 222
Cub Scout Pack 222 meets at the church from 6:45 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday nights, September through May. For information and a calendar of activities, visit Pack 222's website.

Cub Scouts is a year-round family program designed for boys who are entering the first grade through the fifth grade. The boys are assigned to a Den, usually a group of six to eight boys. The Dens are arranged into Tiger Cubs (1st graders), Wolf Cub Scouts (2nd graders), Bear Cub Scouts (3rd graders), and Webeloes Scouts (fourth and fifth graders). The boys learn skills that will help them throughout life (respect for others, character development, citizenship, and service), while having fun and learning new things.

The Dens meet regularly at the Church during the traditional school year (September through May) and during the summer for Pack Activities. Typical activities for the Pack are the following:

  • Summer Activities: Space Derby, Movie Night, Cub Scout Day Camp, Roller Skating @ Jelly Beans, an Evening at Wake County Speedway.
  • Sep-May Actitives: Rain Gutter Regatta, Camping, Participation in the Raleigh Veteran's Day Parade, Pinewood Derby, Holiday Party in December.

The Children's Place, an extension of the Macedonia Baptist Church, acts as a ministry to our community. We provide a safe, quality early childhood program that promotes the mental, physical, social, emotional and spiritual growth of all children.
