Vacation Bible School
Every year, MBC reaches out to children in the community by offering Vacation Bible School (VBS). Additionally, offerings of money and/or food are collected for Missions. Over 200 children and adults register for VBS,and more than 100 volunteers work as teachers , floaters, craft and food workers. Mission projects are often a part of VBS.

Missions Barbeque
A barbeque is held annually in February. Over 100 volunteers work on this event, which is a major fundraiser with all money raised for projects outside of MBC.  Additionally, the barbeque is a fellowship opportunity, encouraging church and community members to gather in the fellowship hall for a meal and to view brochures or photo displays of current mission projects.  Take out orders are available, including those filled at the drive-through.  We encourage companies and organizations to order large quantities, which can be delivered for convenience.

Easter Sunrise Service
Easter Sunrise Service is held each year at Montague Lake off of Penny Rd. We join with Swift Creek Baptist to share in this time of worship.

Summer Picnic
Every August, MBC holds a picnic for church members and the community. The picnic begins with a baptism service. Guests are urged to bring fishing poles, bathing suits, lawn chairs and large portions! Entertainment includes music, a moonwalk, face painting, bingo, games, horseshoes, volleyball and much more. The picnic is a great opportunity to invite friends, family and work associates. This may be their time to "come on over to Macedonia".

Each fall MBC offers a fun festival that includes games, rides and lots of candy.

Yard Sale
A yard sale is held every year in September or October. All proceeds go to Missions. Many volunteers are needed to assist in this large fundraiser for missions. All money collected will go beyond the walls of Macedonia Baptist Church. Here's how MBC members and friends can help:
  1. After cleaning out the attic, garage or children's room, donate items no longer needed to the yardsale.
  2. Volunteer to help with the set-up, sale or clean-up. Indicate this on the sign-up list posted on the church bulletin board.
  3. Tell your friends and neighbors about our sale or take fliers to your apt. building or association or other "local" bulletin board.
  4. Call a member of the committe with a way that you can help!
